Today, the world has witnessed rapid expansion of research and development on "Life Sciences", which embraces Natural Sciences, Medical Sciences and Agricultural Sciences. Having long been at the forefront of traditional treatment since prehistoric time, Asia-Pacific community is poised to join the global wave of scientific endeavors. Renowned as The Land of Smile, Thailand, with its vast diversity of natural resources, has also aimed to firmly establish itself as one of the leaderships in these fields. To strengthen the competitiveness of this region, innovation becomes the key to success. This leads to the APMC 2007 theme as "Technology Convergence: Microwave for Life Sciences." The conference aims at bringing in together all innovations through intermix of the life sciences and microwave-related technology that drives us towards sustainable conservation of life quality and environment.
