Research Scientist (Pos. 1.108)
The Dep. Antennas and Scattering (AUS) at the Research Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques (FGAN-FHR) close to Bonn, Germany seeks applicants to fill one Research Scientist position. The purpose of this position is to develop efficient numerical modelling methods for electromagnetic fields and support the current team. Applicants must be able to develop and implement novel modelling techniques for antennas and scattered fields.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain algorithms for efficient solving methods
· Ensure proper functionality and compatibility
· Make scientific publications and presentations on international conferences
· Act as a liaison within scientific co-operations
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements are
· Master’s degree in science, engineering, or related field
· Training and experience in electromagnetic modelling techniques
· Training and experience in the design of antennas and microwave circuits
The Research Scientist is a full-time position limited until Dec 31, 2006. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
