ELECTROENVIRO SEMINAR 2007
Environmental Electromagnetic Compatibility, incorporated in the Seventh International Conference on Modelling in Medicine and Biology - BIOMED 2007
BIOMED
2007 will incorporate the seminar on Enviromental Electromagnetic
Compatibility. Seminar participants will be able to participate in all
sessions of the BIOMED 2007 Conference. The presence of artificially
generated electromagnetic fields has dramatically increased in the last
few decades. In particular, there has been an enormous growth of radio
base stations and cell phone users, and this has led to an increase in
public concern for potential risks on human health.
This seminar
aims to present the latest scientific contribution on the increasingly
controversial debates over the possible influence of electromagnetic
radiation on the environment. The papers will cover a wide range of
numerical methods and experimental techniques from all areas of
Environmental Electromagnetic Compatibility.
Topics
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) sources - Methods in experimental and theoretical dosimetry - Bio-electromagnetics - Safety standards and protection measures - Computational models in environmental electromagnetic compatibility (EEMC) - Measurement and testing techniques - Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in medical equipment - Biological effects of electromagnetic fields - Optimization techniques - Electromagnetic-thermal modelling of the human body - Biomedical applications
