ICC2008 is jointly organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), Chinese Institute of Communications (CIC), Tsinghua University (THU), and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), under the supports from National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and major telecommunication operators and industries. The technical program will consist of Tutorials and Workshops on the latest technical and business issues in communications and networking topics, 9 Technical Symposia disseminating the latest research and development results in the areas of Advances in Networks and Internet, Communications QoS/Reliability and Performance Modeling, Communication Theory, Communication Software and Services, Information and Network Security, Optical Networks and Systems, Signal Processing for Communications, Wireless Communications, and Wireless Networking, and one General Symposium addressing the topics not covered by the technical symposia listed above. Panel discussions will also be organized to encourage interactive discussions or even debates on the hottest topics.
