Course on Phased Arrays and Multi-Function Radar
The aim of the course addresses the principles and implementation of
phased array, and their use in the design and operation of modern
multi-function radars (MFRs). The main topics of the course will be Power division in passive arrays, Properties and use of phase control components, Design of active arrays, Sidelobe design, Problems of mutual coupling, Limitations of conventional radars, Use of phased arrays to optimise search and track functions within a single radar, Design examples of operational MFRs.

IEEE WCNC 2008
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference 2008
IEEE WCNC is the premier wireless event for wireless communications
researchers, industry professionals, and academics interested in the
latest development and design of wireless systems and networks.
Sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, IEEE WCNC has a long
history of bringing together industry, academia, and regulatory bodies.
In 2008, IEEE WCNC will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, co-located
with CTIA WIRELESS 2008 (the world's largest wireless show). IEEE WCNC
2008 registrants will have free admission to the CTIA exhibit floor.

PIERS 2008
Progress In Electromagnetics Research Symposium 2008
PIERS 2008 provides an international forum for reporting progress
and recent advances in the modern development of electromagnetic theory
and its new and exciting applications starting 1989. Spectra ranges
from statics to RF, microwave, photonics, and beyond. Topics include
radiation, propagation, diffraction, scattering, guidance, resonance,
power, energy and force issues, and all other modern developments.
