Work shop on State of the art 3D electromagnetic simulation
17 October 2007
Time
1.30 p.m. 4.30 p.m.
Location:
Electrical engineering building, technical faculty of Lund University, Room E:2311 on the second floor, Lund, Sweden.
3D EM simulation is assuming an increasingly important role in accelerating costly development cycles and reducing time-to-market. As the technical leader in this field, CST is pleased to invite you to a workshop covering various topics of 3D EM simulation, focusing in particular on wireless applications.
Topics to be covered include:
- Integration of 3D EM simulation into the design workflow
- Return loss, Near- and Far-field analysis, SAR of wireless devices
- EDA import, signal and power integrity, PCB simulation
- Circuit-EM co-simulation (e.g. antenna matching)
- Antenna placement, electrically large antennas, MLFMM-solver
- EMC/EMI issues
The workshop will be led by Dr. Tilmann Wittig. The workshop is free of charge. Refreshments will be served during the break. Advance on-line registration is requested.
