The Eighth IASTED International Conferences on Wireless and Optical Communications

The Eighth IASTED International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications (WOC 2008) will be a major forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research, results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of telecommunication systems, with emphasis on wireless and optical communications. Its aim is to strengthen relations between the telecommunication industry, research laboratories, and universities. All papers submitted to this conference will be double blind reviewed by at least two reviewers. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.

WOC 2008 will highlight the latest research and developments in Wireless and Optical Communications. This conference is intended for research scientists from around the world and will feature universities, institutions, telecommunication companies, service developers, and organizations using telecommunication technologies.

The conference will consist of the following 4 symposia:

1.        Communication Systems and Applications (CSA 2008)

2.        Optical Communication Systems and Networks (OCSN 2008)

3.        Wireless Networks and Emerging Technologies (WNET 2008)

4.        Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN 2008)

Important Deadlines

Submissions due:  January 15, 2008

Notification of acceptance:  February 15, 2008

Final manuscripts due:  April 1, 2008

Registration deadline:  April 8, 2008
