Description of Topic
The
Electrical Engineering Department of the Université catholique de
Louvain (UCL) is looking for up to 4 research fellows, at PhD or
postdoctoral level, in the fields of antennas and propagation regarding
several aspects: body-area networks, multi-antenna or
multi-polarization MIMO systems, sensor networks, digital beamforming
arrays, metamaterial-based antennas, propagation in complex media
(electromagnetic theory and numerical modeling with method of moments
and ray-tracing), etc.
Profile of Candidate
The
candidates should hold an Electrical Engineering degree at Masters
level, should be motivated for in-depth work at both theoretical and
applications levels, strongly motivated for starting a PhD thesis and
be fluent in both oral and written English. Willingness to learn French
at conversational level within one year will be appreciated.
